Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of SnapCV (snapcv.in), operated by Works Limited. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use SnapCV.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Subscriptions and billing

• You can build a resume on SnapCV using our free templates at no cost. Downloading a resume, using premium templates, or exporting DOCX requires an active paid plan.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges per your selected plan until you cancel.
• Prices are listed on our Pricing page and may change with prior notice; changes won't apply retroactively to an active billing cycle.
• You can cancel anytime from account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; it doesn't refund the current billing period unless required by law.

3. Refunds

Because downloads unlock immediately on payment, purchases are generally non-refundable. If you were charged in error or experienced a technical failure that prevented you from using what you paid for, contact us within 7 days and we'll review it in good faith.

4. Your content

You own the resume content you create on SnapCV. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and render that content solely to provide the service (e.g. generating your PDF/DOCX, powering AI suggestions). We don't claim ownership of your resume data and don't use it to train third-party models.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use SnapCV for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes (e.g. fabricating credentials to deceive an employer).
• Attempt to bypass paywalls, rate limits, or access controls, or interfere with the service's security.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell SnapCV templates or platform functionality.
• Upload content that infringes another's rights or violates applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

SnapCV's templates, design, code, and branding are owned by Works Limited and protected by applicable IP law. Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable license to use templates to build your own resume — not to redistribute or resell them.

7. Disclaimer

SnapCV helps you build and format a resume; it does not guarantee interviews, job offers, or that any specific employer's ATS will parse your resume a particular way. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Works Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SnapCV, including lost job opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from settings.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
